College football play off contract
We know that the P5 gets the bulk of the money and we get a crappy payout on par with the other G5 conferences.

A few questions....

How long does the contract last?
Are there any provisions for recalculating payout based on conference performance?
Are there any provisions regarding conference performance playing a part in the next round after the current contract expires?

The deal lasts until 2025.

For the G5, the playoff committee ranks each conference, and there is a slight difference in payout depending upon your ranking. Last year, we were #3, this year we will be #1. The money difference is small though, not really worth worrying about.

No, in 2025 new negotiations will take place with a clean slate.

I'm OK with not being on the same level as the P5, but I sure hope we get a substantially bigger piece of the pie next time.

I won't be shocked if the contract is renegotiated before 2025 in order to expand the playoff to 6 or 8 teams.

to think th struucture will last till 2015 is laughable....
the pac 12 will be left out this year maybe even the SEC/ACC, the big 12 last year

give it 3 or 4 years and an 8 team playoff will be enacted and all the contracts will be redone
