RE: Transition for the players and remaining coaches
The tigers will not be alone in going to a bowl game without their previous coaches. With the multitude of coaching changes this year
there will be numerous teams and also message boards wondering how things are going to turn out not only for the bowl game but for the next football season and beyond. If we can go all in and win our bowl game then the mind set of the players will be back on the upswing and they will be looking forward to next season and proving to everyone that they are going to be extremely TOUGH TIGERS to be dealt with. Win the bowl game Tigers for yourselves and especially the seniors and reward yourselves for all of the hard work that you have put in to get to this point. It is you as a team and individually that have made us proud and shown everybody that we are a full fledged football program now. You have won games and won fights so go out there and knock down any and all brick walls that might be thrown in front of you. GO TIGERS, beat the L out of anybody and everybody that has the misfortune to be on our schedule.

As an Arkansas State fan it can be done and you can still win. You lost a good coach but you got a good one. Congrats. He was a finalist last time for us when we we hired Anderson.

Good post and I agree. My only concern is, having coaches unsure what their future will be, not knowing if they'll be retained by our new coach, lining up interviews with prospective schools (can't blame them) and those coaches knowing they're going to VT as soon as our bowl game is over. I just wonder how much time and energy is being put forth in the preparation of our upcoming bowl game.
