dang!

RT @DanWolken: AAC is on a different level right now than the other G5 leagues. It’s now the place to prove yourself.

Aresco has to be beaming like a proud father who's kid just threw a no hitter.

Maybe the father negotiates a better allowance

I think it will happen. This going to be a fun league to watch--and with over half the league averaging 30K+ in attendance, its going to look better and better on tv.

I think offense leads to better ratings.

He is just saying what we all have known from day one. This league from top to bottom is as "P5" as the other leagues. The G4 is so far behind us, it would take a Millennium to catch up. I am just glad more people are starting to realize this.

This league is becoming badass. Next year should be just as fun.

I think most of us already knew this league was solid.

Yup. Been saying it. In their arrogance they've forced together a group of schools that deserve to belong, with the means to compete, and given them the motivation to do so.

Hopefully next year ECU can prove they can manage a clock. 03-lmfao

CUSA boards are having a meltdown. They are claiming that ESPN is pumping us up like the SEC. They seem to think we are no better than them. Denial is strong on that board.

The next step is for Tulane, SMU and UCF to rebuild. The good news for the AAC is that they're all undergoing HUGE changes.

It's going to be hard to run the table in the AAC. Parity could hurt the NY6 bowl chances if the bottom feeders become competent.

Let's get into a time machine and go back to 2005. Instead of taking UTEP and Rice, CUSA keeps USF, and Cincy. CUSA kicks USM and UAB to the curb to add Temple and UCONN from Big East. And instead of taking Marshall we replace Army with Navy.

And they think the CUSA of today is somehow better than that???

What drugs are they taking and where can I get them?

Be careful with that game.

2005 C-USA would have been well-served to get rid of 2005 Tulane, and hold on to 2005 USM (which was a better team at the time).

Tulane was once of the LAST teams in the AAC. Our fanbase would be well-served to keep that in mind.

Tulane could have not one a single game in 2005 in any sport and would not have gotten dropped. You think people are mad because Navys QB got cut out of a internet poll by a car company? Try kicking a AAU school in the middle of Katrina.

I'm not so sure about that. The league is currently looked at as deeper than the other 4. I think that depth plays to our favor in my opinion.

For what it's worth, I really miss our football rivalry such that it is, being mostly in USM's favor and all. 04-cheers
