Tedford's last 3 seasons at Cal were 5-7; 7-6 3-9. He is 54 right now. When he left, the graduation rate was awful (for Cal standards), the players were very clique-ish and Tedford never really struck gold at the QB position after he got Aaron Rodgers in 2005. He's a West Coast guy through and through. I am not sure he's got much left in the tank for recruiting and plus he would have to introduce himself to virtually the entire Southeast.
He left the BC Lions head coaching job yesterday. Clearly, he is in the mix somewhere and it could be here. Just not sure he's the right fit at this point. We could do worse (like Larry Porter).

Correct. Think George Patton....or Nick Saban for that matter.
Nick's very cuddly when you get to know him. He likes to tell limericks and sing silly songs.

Beware the West Coast. Strange people come from there with odd ideas of diversity and banana bread beer.
What happened to the Dickey idea? The one that the former players want?

Always a great idea to let your former players pick the coach.
