Everybody in the Blazer family knows first hand what a great guy and terrific teacher, mentor, and role model Zac is with young men. To have him return to assist with the transformation of UAB's football program as it begins anew would be the icing on the cake for us this year.

We need Zac back

Everyone says he would not leave USM for UAB. Well..............he left the NFL for UAB. I'll sit back and watch what happens.

i don't understand why they don't think he would leave USM for UAB. Maybe he does, maybe it doesn't but he played at UAB, played for Clark in high school, from the area, left Packers to come to UAB. I wouldn't imagine USM being able to pay more money. I guess it is fans thinking their school is better than any other school.

Home is within the state of Alabama among other things.

He may not come. That said it's not a stretch to think Zac would not leave USM and come home.

It's a lot to factor in. Would Mrs Woodfin be up to coming back?
Does he put his trust back in dealing with Watts again?

I would like to think with Clark still here that would give him more incentive and trust into coming back.

How much we are going to able to pay will also be a factor

If he comes it won't be about the money. That said we will be competitive.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. I've had good times the last 2 games I was able to attend there also. My family is from near there. Most have escaped the area. And the one's that haven't wish they could.

BWW is ok. Enjoy taking it over every year.
