I still hope we can somehow get Odom or Riley but will support whom ever we hire....Just hope it is NOT Todd Monken....Just don't think he is a Homerun, and had 1 good season at USM in a Weak C-USA, not a great recruiter...Feel he could Set us back if we aren't careful....But would support him if he got it just not sold on him one bit....I would rather take a chance on the 32 yr wiz kid Riley first....Lets hope Odom doesn't get Mizzou and does somehow work it out here.....That would be the best case, unless we could get Riley or Brohm....The World Is Ours Memphis....

You do realize you are advocating for a guy who has had no good seasons at UAB in a weak CUSA right?

not a good recruiter? Southern Miss hired Ellis Johnson who made Larry Porter look like a genius. They bottomed out and won 8 games this year finally. Say what you will about CUSA but Memphis only had 2 years of 8 wins or better.
Winning 8 games means there is some talent there. smh

I hope we somehow get Odom or Riley and then Hire Tedford as Assistant HC-OC-QB coach.....That way they would have someone with Exprience just like when we hired 35 yr Justin Fuente and he brought in Dickey for that very reason....Now that would be a Grandslam.....Mizzou has Wrapped up Interviews and hopefully announce soon and Hope its not Odom and we still have a shot....Same for South Carolina Hope they pass On Riley and hope we still have a play with him too if we don't get Odom....Fingers Crossed....The World Is Ours Memphis....

Keep an Eye on Matt Wells.... He Interviewed for Mizzou, and Wren Baker worked for Bowen here before he went to Mizzou...Possible Rudd and Bowen are meeting with Riley then Matt Wells.....Fingers Crossed....The World Is Ours Memphis.....One thing sure is not likely Babers, Brohm, or def not Monken.....The World Is Ours Memphis.....

We all know CUSA is a much different conference these days. Memphis would have been undefeated this year if they were still in CUSA.
