Freshman Ben Simmons of LSU's stat line tonight in their game verses North Florida.

I don't think I have ever seen a stat line like that from a freshman. Amazing.

What also amazed me was that North Florida shot nearly 60% from the 3 with 57 points from 3s and still lost the game by double digits.

Durant and Beasley immediately came to my mind. Neither put up the numbers quite as well across the board, but durant did have a 37/23 game. Beasley had a 40/17 game.

Simmons is one of those cant miss freshman that comes along every few years. He is proving just how good he is.

Can't fathom how good LSU would be if Martin and Mickey stuck around.

Chris Jackson averaged 31 a game for LSU as a Freshman.

03-banghead And he once gave Coach Bartow a verbal commit.
