I've seen quite a lot of projections with UCONN and NIU matching up in Boca for the Boca Raton Bowl, how would you feel about this? I guesst could be marketed as a Huskie clash or the Dog Fight or something but if you have to play a MAC team it might as well be an upper tier one right? Good exposure in florida too, would like to hear opinions from some AAC Huskie fans

Singular pronunciation is Husky around these parts. Plural would be Huskies. Not sure if NIU does it the same way.

I like it. If we can't get a P5 school (specifically Big Ten or ACC), it's good to play a G5 with name recognition. Not to mention the MAC was clearly the next best G5 conference after the AAC this year.

We just use Huskies and Huskie so our plural is the same just our singular is different

Yeah the MAC definitely had an up year but overall it's still a garbage conference. That's why i want both of my teams in the same conference competing to dethrone my P5 team

From who? Not that i wouldn't love to hear that news but I'm skeptical. The best I've heard is a "handshake" agreement as a candidate if the AAC gets raided, and that's through working in NIU athletics.
