So what does everyone want to hear Jason Candle say at the PC today?

I don't want to hear any bull****. Just be real with us and he can start to build a strong following. I want to hear him talk about how he feels about this great University. I want to know that he's truly a Rocket man and ready to take us to the next step, which both Tim Beckman and Matt Campbell have each failed to do.

I want to hear more about the proce$$

I'd like to hear him acknowledge that this has been a strange few days, and that although he had made a trip or two to Ames and he understands how that must look, his heart was always really set on this job (was a bit different when Amstutz left and came back--he was a Toledo guy, through & through).

I'd like to hear him say he will not call plays, and will indeed find an OC, from outside the organization.

I'd like to hear him say that he will be keeping Heacock as DC.

I'd like to hear him say that he has already reached out to our recruits/former recruits and will work like hell to keep them/get them back, and that he also now has a few new targets in mind thanks to his visit to Iowa.

I want to hear him say that everyone associated with Rocket Nation has a right to feel disappointed at how our last home game went, and that he, his staff and this team will make us all proud in the bowl game.

I'd like to hear MOB announce Mark Richt or Jim Harding or Luke Fickell as our next head coach and all this stuff about Candle was just a silly rumor that some intern thought funny...

Mark Richt? Sure why not? Going from making 4M/yr, playing in front of 100k fans and always in contention for a NY Day Bowl and even a National Championship to playing in front of 18k "fans", playing a December 20th bowl game against Podunk U while contending for an all mighty MAC championship. I would love to hear that sales pitch.

He'd say that it's a part of the job and that every other coach in America would do/have done the same thing.

Don't forget the Tuesday night MACtion games in empty stadiums and ****** weather. Those could be a deal maker for Richt.
