Interesting, Parker Ehinger is a repeat 1st Team Player
Andrew Gantz and Siverberry Mouhon are repeat 2nd team players
Shaq Washington, Ryan Leahy, Deyshawn Bond, and Eric Wilson (all selected to the 2nd team) had never been selected for 1st team, 2nd team or Honorable Mention previously
Zach Edwards (selected as Honorable Mention) had never been selected for 1st team, 2nd team or Honorable Mention previously
Is this an indication of player development..? As for the previous mentions of Zach Edwards not developing in his career he had not been previously selected but has been this year.
Parker, Shaq, and Silverberry will not return.

Such a lauded group of WRs and only one (Shaq) even makes the list

One of the problems with having so many good WR's is that everyone's production numbers are lower because you distribute to so many different players.
Injury was a major problem for us this year across the board and receiver was no exception. How many games did Johnny Holton and Chris Moore miss due to injury? How many did they play being really banged up? I have to think those two would have likely made one of the teams had they been not so injured.
Not to repeat myself again but I have to question the strength and conditioning program. So many injuries over the past three years. It be one thing if Chris Moore and Johnny Holton had fluke broken bone injuries (ie. Adrian Witty this year or Munchie Legaux against Illinois) but pulled hamstrings and other ligamentous injuries are another thing.

I'm sorry, but Silverberry being on any of these lists is purely based on reputation and not performance this year. He had a rough one this year, albeit due to a lack of help from the interior of the line, and would only be included on this if there was a big lack of talented DEs to take the places up.
Other than that, these for the most part make sense. If Chris Moore wasn't injured for a chuck of the conference slate he'd definitely deserve a spot, and part of me thinks after his performance in a few of the conference games that Morrison should've gotten a look. He was a man among boys in that Memphis game and has been solid for us all year.

The S&C program reached it's peak under Longo.
We also had a damn good one with Mickey Marotti back in the 1990s
Both of them are big on Non-traditional/unorthodox approaches to S&C... everyone heard of Longo Beach when he was here and Mickey was big on flipping tractor tires, and approaches like that before they were popular...

So many of our issues this year goes back to S&C. In addition to physical development and injury, it helps in other phases of the game:
Mental mistakes-- ie. turnovers, stupid penalties, not knowing your assignment, etc. are most often the result of being fatigued.
Three to four of the five losses could have easily been won if the players had more reserve in the tank or if certain players had a little more discipline.
Your comment about Longo jarred a stat I heard a couple years ago: BK basically never loses after having a 4th quarter lead. I found an ESPN article on Longo which states as of the date of the article Kelly's teams were 42-1 after holding a league in the 4th quarter.
