In one hour our Postseason honors will be announced!

the suspense:
we only have 2 teams: reynolds, ward and paxton..someone is getting left out

2 first team rbs: who isnt the first team marlon, farrow or jahad

courtland sutton is arguable the best WR, does playing for a horrible team kill his all conference hopes

does bigger or overton make first or second team

that and more, we will find out

Tyler Matakevich will be defensive player of the year........

RE: All Conference Awards Announced in 45 minutes
Shaq Washington deserves All Conference honors at WR. He had 88 catches this year and consistently moved the chains for Cincinnati this year.

A couple of OL will probably get 1st team nods as well.

While I'm a fan of Coach Ken, Herman should be unanimous Coach of the Year.

Mack and Thomas were selected 1st team. Farrow and Swain 2nd team. I think they got it right.

Pos. Player School Cl. Ht. Wt. Hometown/Last School
WR Isaiah Jones East Carolina Jr. 6-1 197 Austin, Texas/Stephen F. Austin
OT Dion Dawkins Temple Jr. 6-5 318 Rahway, N.J./Rahway
OG Ryan Leahy Cincinnati Jr. 6-6 292 Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle
C Deyshawn Bond Cincinnati Jr. 6-1 291 Indianapolis, Ind./Warren Central

CB Sean Chandler Temple So. 5-11 185 Camden, N.J./Camden
P Caleb Houston UCF Jr. 6-1 210 Cleveland, Tenn./Walker Valley

In terms of position players (excl. special teams):

Houston (4) - QB Ward, WR Ayers, DL Singleton, LB Taylor
Navy (0)
Memphis (0) assuming Lynch leaves
Tulsa (0)
Tulane (2) - DL Smart, LB Marley
SMU (0)

USF (3) - RB Mack, DB Nichols, LB Sanchez
Cincy (3) - OL Bond, OL Leahy, LB Wilson
UConn (1) - DB Summers
ECU (1) - WR Hayes

Looking at the talent returning in the divisions, next year could be the reverse of 2015 with a dogfight at the top in the East and Houston essentially controlling the West.

Jackson is second team? OK...

I guess because he has fewer pass defense opportunities. Because no one throws his way. Seems silly.

Quote:AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Tre'Quan Smith, WR, UCF (Fr., Delray Beach, Fla.)

Smith is totally deserving of this award, but it's just funny that the rookie of the year was part of the worst offense in all of college football.

I am sure he is a good player. However, if the Special Teams Player of the Year makes the FG against Houston, Navy wins the division.

I'm just laughing at Alex Wells being 1st team all AAC and Tavon Young not even being 2nd team. Alex Wells might be our 5th best safety.
