Word is that he's staying with TT until their bowl game. I don't have that in writing though.

And while he could leave TT early and join BG, I don't see how he could effectively coach a team after 2 weeks on the job. BG's bowl game is on the 23rd.

Good move. BG has a lot of components to keep things going on the O side, with the right coach.

Looks like BG is going from the Dino-saur to Hi-Jinks!

Dino's base was $410k....he accrued enough in bonus clauses to push that to like 550-600k. Going to assume that Jinks has a similar set up.

Gutsy hire... not really concerned about the HS gig being the bulk of his experience. A lot of offensive innovations seem to begin in the HS ranks on TX.

He seems like another classy guy (as was Babers). BGSU wasted no time in doing their national search. I wonder if he is going to start getting Texas guys to come to BG.

They can certainly hope. He's only 3 years removed from the high school scene, so he has to have some pretty good contacts there still. As long as they don't sacrifice what they've built in Florida.
