RE: Scout.com current 2016 recruiting rankings for CUSA
Since all 4 sites have USM in the top three, LaTech fans fearing Monken was not recruiting for our future and was ready to cut and bolt seem to be wrong. He may get thrown some money and leave, but he's stilling recruiting hard!

won't your class be gone in 2?
Whats better, a solid Juco recruit that contributes for 2 years or a high school recruit who never contributes but one year, two years or never? Sure looked last Saturday that Tech had a lot of high school non-contributors on the field.
I agree
Butler doesnt fit that. Im still pissed he ended up there. I went to juco with his dad, he was a 3 sport guy. But he played at Monroe,,,,,,,,, how in the hell did yall let him in?

there is no 'quit' in Monken....
I may be proven wrong, but I don't think (when he leaves), he poaches any of our recruits intentionally.....that's the difference between what I see in fedora vs monken....fedora was slimy, but the guy can surround himself with competence and manage effectively at this level....
Monken has matured into the type of coach that any school should want....
He's smart, humble, confident, and respectful......and just a bit batshite crazy
what is there not to like?
