Scouting La Tech:
Of their 10 rotation guys 7 are guards ranging from 6'2" to 6'6". Not a very good shooting team, 45% overall, 28% 3pt, 64% FT. They are also not a great rebounding team. They love to play fast and pressure the ball averaging 8 steals a game and 16 turnovers per game. The Tigers should be able to have some success against them inside as long as they don't turn the ball over.

Trivia:
Jeremiah Martin had committed to La Tech but changed his commitment to the Tigers. La Tech has had 2 really great PF/C over the years, Karl Malone in the 80's and Paul Millsap in 2003-2006. La Tech's coach last year, Mike White is now the head coach at Florida.

Was going to come by the tailgate for SMU, but got there 30 before tip and just had coffee with my pop.

Well his head is like four feet tall all its own.

I'm really looking forward to this game, which has taken on the feel of being an important test. There are still many questions to answer about this year's team, but there's a chance here to get on a nice run.
