If it was on the @ruston site, it must've been taken down....which doesn't surprise one bit. They don't allow much freedom of speech there....or freedom to buy liquor, dance, enjoy life, etc. They are not a very happy bunch in good old rustonia.

And greet in Tech speak is "Hey guys, why are you so sensitive up here, we already beat ULL (He used another term) the last two years, so we've already proven we can destroy the entire the Sun Belt, so really you shouldn't be surprised that we wouldn't want to play a Sun Belt team in a bowl. We just have nothing to gain and everything to lose from it"

By the way, Dawg06 is now advocating for Tech fans to Boycott the New Orleans Bowl, believing it will show their administration that they don't want to play Sun Belt teams. I really like that idea...that will really show those instate bowl officials something.

Also, Cajun fans should know the only reason they all showed up for New Orleans and Won is because their fans were excited to get to play superior teams.

La Tech just completed a home and home series with ULL. We now have a home and home series scheduled with USA. La Tech is not against playing SBC teams. A handful of Tech fans are, but as I've stated before, the vast majority of our fan base is not.

I'd love to see our next home and home series with a SBC team be with Ark St. Maybe this bowl game will spark some interest in such a series on both sides.

Yeah, they need to tell the New Orleans Bowl to just cool their jets while they look for a better offer. That's worked well for them in the past.

Well once upon a time a Marshall student (you know right away this is good) got lucky with what was disclosed as a member of the Marshall swim team. He awoke the next morning to find the girl had cleaned out his and his rommates wallet to the tune of almost $400. AND pizzed in his bed. Somewhere around page 20 is where the carrot introduced to this story.
This happened in 2012 and the thread is still alive today.
