He's probably not on more lists for the same reason Tony Levine isn't. Levine essentially recruited the West championship team this year.

But he didn't win enough...

Taggert is making a name for himself but his record isn't top tier AAC yet.

He has 30 wins to 42 losses in his CAREER. A month ago USF was 4-4 and Tags was about to be shown the door. He had a 10 win 26 loss record at USF up till then. Now Wet Willie and USF think they are the best coach and team in the American. It is a joke. Tags is on no ones short list of hires...

If I were UCF fans, I would just lay low for a while. Your team just went 0-12, got routed in almost every game this year, and got demolished by your rival 44-3. Willie could have put up 60 on your team, but we put in the backups the entire 4th quarter. You didn't see Mack and Flowers at all down the stretch. Lay low, UCF fans, lay low.
