This is my biggest concern. The O-Line played like s**t against Ohio. If they play like that against BG, we're toast.
If the O-Line gets some push and we get the run game going, we'll be fine. 1st Downs for us are gonna be key. We cannot afford to be in too many 3rd and long situations.

I am sticking with if we don't shorten the game with our rushing attack and keep BG's offense off the field we just do not have the offensive fire power (mainly a QB to get the ball into the hands of our play-makers) to win a shoot-out with BG. Also, if we don't find a way to get some pressure on Johnson and force some mistakes he will pick us apart.

The players still don't know what u is they will be wearing...seems like something new to me since they would have already known if this were a regular week.

Nah, it's just that the uniform decision is day to day.

Something tells me NIU rally's around the kid.
NIU runs for 250, has hard time passing but completes a couple bombs for TDs.

If the Ohio version of our O and D lines shows up then it will be 60 to 10 bad guys, a real *** kicking. If they play well then we can make a game of it. And as others have noted we've been the favorite all six times so far and managed to lose three of them and play poorly in two others. Maybe we have our day as an underdog.

Ya I saw that video of them practicing in white helmets and white jerseys...but with 7s digging a player said today they they don't know what they will be wearing yet.

I went thru the years posts and they drop the uni cartoon 4 days before gameday, so we should get some hint tomorrow.

We tie Marshall's record, however I believe that NIU has done it against tougher competition.
Jerry Kill(1), Dave Doeren(2),Rod Carey(3).
Coach Carey deserves so much credit for achieving what he did with so many injuries.

+1. They will be the difference in the game. I thought about it after the Ohio game that this line has prolly been the worst since what 2007/08?
