Charlotte Question
Of all the coaches hired by the AD Judy Rose during her tenure how many of them would you consider a success?
Has the atheletic department improved under her leadership?
If the Charlotte atheletic department has suffered (become an embarrassment) under her leadership should not others like; those over her, financial supporters who back her, & community leaders backing her share the blame for destroying a once proud athletic program?

We have a board in which to discuss these sort of things. No reason to bring it here.

I occasionally go to NN.N However, I find the quality of the layout of the board lacking. Great discussion on NN.N but its just not easy on the eye.

I think that's the first time I've ever heard anyone say that. Oh well, to each his own. Not like there's really any good news to read on either board these days.

Not saying this is the case with Rabon, but there have been people in the past that got confused by the board, thinking the front page when you are logged in is the entire board. I remember one guy getting furious because all of the most recent topics on the first page were terrible and that his posts kept getting deleted. They weren't deleted, they just kept getting pushed out of the recent discussions list on the homepage. He ended up getting frustrated to the point that he left the board despite people explaining multiple times what was happening and even pointing him to the right place.
NN.N isn't a terrible layout, but honestly, I prefer a board like this. The shoutbox, as much as I love chatting with people during work in there, also stifles conversation on the board, so a lot of things that get said go unsaved, so casual readers that aren't members of the board miss out on a lot of information.

So basically we're good at hiring for sports that don't matter, but awful at hiring for the ones that do.

RE: Charlotte Question
The layout of NN isn't bad, it's just confusing, topics appear multiple times on the front page -it's definitely a must read all the time to follow along - topics and the way it loads, especially on my smart devices aren't easy reads, it's part of the reason I'm not on it more.

Charlotte, your football will be fine in the long run. Get your men's basketball going; hopefully the dark days are not much longer. ODU-Charlotte needs to be a heated and marquee game for the league.

There's this button on NN.N near the top right. It's call "Unread". If you click that it list all the unread posts.

I dream of Charlotte-ODU being moved to Thanksgiving weekend every year.
My family lives in Charlotte, in-laws live on Knotts Island. It would just be too perfect for me.

At least we have a top-tier women basketball program.
What more could we want?
