Here one of their poster's thoughts on NIU and BG and how we match up

RE: MACC game analysis according to BGSU
My biggest concern is our pass defense. He's right with the statistics, we're essentially just average on defense. The defensive line not getting any pressure and our secondary getting burned frequently is a pretty good possibility. I mean maybe you can hang your hat on lurry getting a pick by that's about it. Unless we somehow carve up Bowling Green with the run I don't know if we can keep up in points.

We have to keep their offense off the field. Get the lead and make it feel like they need to hurry to catch up.

Great article. BGSU is at the advantage, as he pointed out, but our players always seem to show up when it matters. Let's prove everyone wrong and win this damn game! Friday couldn't come any quicker!

Only problem with the article is he gave our punter too much respect.

RE: MACC game analysis according to BGSU
Went back and looked at the stats from BG game vs. Toledo:

BG had 5 turnovers
BG had the ball for 25 minutes
BG was down early, 20-0
BG's QB sacked 3 times
BG's longest play 33 yds

Those stats explain why they lost by 16 pts., and at home.

Recipe for NIU success: get the run game going, control the clock, get a lead early, force some turnovers
But I certainly don't expect 5 turnovers and 3 sacks

I thought so too. The writer stuck to the facts/ stats & left his own bias out of it.
