RPIs are pretty meaningless this early though. There's no way Memphis stays in the 200s

Going to have to beat someone with a pulse before you wake anybody up. Unfortunately, the only chance is a home date with LSU. RI isn't bad, and it's a road game, so that will be a big test.

Disappointed Houston isn't challenging themselves OOC. Some potential there, but having an OOC schedule like that leaves you with little hope to make the tournament.

You're right that RPI this early doesn't indicate too much. Memphis does not have a very good team this season but I don't think we're 214 bad.

It's certainbly a sobering thought though to realize how far Memphis has fallen.

Of course a Cincy fan will post RPIs in November. How about you guys worry about not tanking the conference's RPI in Baseball this season?

Why can't we post stuff about Basketball since on top? BTW, is college Baseball as big as Men's Basketball for TV. Nope, I didn't think so.07-coffee3

RE: AAC Mens BB RPI's
Maybe RPI isn't that important this time of year, but Ranked 17th in both AP and Coaches poll for Cincinnati is, maybe, almost as good as Baseball.

RE: AAC Mens BB RPI's
Since you mentioned baseball... I am excited to see the conference perform this upcoming year in YEAR 2 of the new regimes at USF, Tulane, and ECU (each having such impressive debuts)

Hopefully our new hires in fb are as impressive.

Completely meaningless because RPI does not evaluate correctly until nearly all games have been played. You have to get half way through conference season before they begin to make sense. Until then, they are complete garbage and should be ignored.

Case in point; Team A can lose to a crappy team on a neutral court, and team B can lose to the best team in the nation at home. Right now, RPI says team A is incredible and team B sucks.

Try actually performing in a sport that actually makes this conference money and then come talk, mmkay?

Memorandum. No one cares about baseball. Maybe you can stay under 200 for the league.

Ucf has lost 2 games by 1 point and lost to Davidson by 5 on the road. We might be better than you think when we get our starting PG. Time will tell, but disappointing so far.

How are four teams rated under Tulane?

We're really struggling for air right now.
