RE: Sun Belt Coach of the Year
If Miles becomes the first Belt coach to walk out of Paulson victorious he should be a unanimous pick.

Otherwise, if chalk holds this weekend Anderson should be honored. To overcome all the injuries they've had and run the table which includes winning in Boone is a tremendous accomplishment.

Oops, forgot. Taking a team with FCS talent that went 6-6 and 7-5 to a full FBS team at 3-9 has to be some kind of special.

RE: Sun Belt Coach of the Year
You go undefeated in conf you win in my book. Stats are misleading for the top three schools, GS could of scored 14 more point in just about all the blowout games and gave up a bunch of garbage time points as well in most blow outs. I doubt GaSt has had a chance to take the foot off the gas and put in its third string O and D much. If am correct in four games GS gave up over 40 points in the 4th qtr of games that were done by the end of the third. We did not lose any of those games by less than 20 points. I suspect the same is true for some of App's and ArkSt's games as well. Barring an upset I would be good with Sat or Anderson. Managing not to be the worst Sun Belt team right now is not much of an accomplishment, while not having one bad game out of 8 and crushing the current second place team is.

I would give it to Anderson since it looks like he'll be winning the conference at 8-0 in just his second year. That impresses me since he is coaching players that were recruited by 4 different staffs. Even with an obviously talented roster, that took some adjusting and buying in to do what stAte has this year.

Gotta give it to Anderson this year if he finishes the conference at 8-0 in his 2nd year of coaching Ark State.

They went on the road and handled business in Boone against the only other undefeated team in the SBC.
