this is the one position I don't like this using this methodology.....

recruiting a qb out of hs based on the coaches philosophy is the better method....JMO

This actually concern me. Not that the kid wanted to transfer to Western..he was coming before BP left and followed him to UofL. What concerns me is Western is will to take a QB that couldn't get off the bench for a very weak passing offense offense at UofL. It kind of makes you or at least me go...maybe the coaches aren't as high on White as I through.

The transfer QB from JMU didn't light up the score board for Marshall. That's one I questioned from the start, how a FCS QB would be a game changer for an FBS team. JUCO transfers usually workout but those moving down are usually doing so because they aren't getting playing time at a bigger program. Those moving up, well I can't think of many that were difference makers, in Marshall's case that's definitely how it worked out.

it's hardly a case study, but we have had transfers the last few years.....and who is our starter?

why do I REALLY like Monken?

b/c he saw more than what I saw during spygate 3 yrs ago.....that's his job (to matthews credit, he has looked good during spot play....and we never know if mullens gets hurt....another smart move giving him pt)

heart and leadership skills rarely transfer...

and regardless of what one thinks is the most important asset of any team, I feel certain that leadership is at the top of the list....

that's what I recruit at any level of 'play'

When Adams has been healthy he's looked good at Oregon.

What I read said the qb left UL in August, so he was not on their roster this year.
