RE: Bahamas Bowl
Is it going to be the WMU/CMU swap on bowl games this year with CMU going to Boise?

Yeah, we haven't played any SunBelt teams. For times in recent history (which one should only pay attention of in terms of track record), it's 0-4: We played a (then) 10W Air Force team in MW country last year and lost, Purdue (close one) in Detroit, Cinci in a close one in Toronto... and Rice in their virtual home field (but we lost by way too much, no excuses there).
This one is going to be an evenly matched opponent on neutral (and empty) turf. My guess is WMU would be a SLIGHT favorite, but hardcore analysts may lean on MTSU if they see their injuries are sewed up for the better. All in all, it'll come down to who's more prepared, makes less mistakes, and can get their FGs. It being a vacation spot can hit/hurt a team's performance, so hopefully PJ has WMU focused on a Mission, not a Vacation.

MTSU are no slouch now that I look at it. They lost to Bama (#2), Illinois (B10), WKU (10-2), Vandy (SEC), and LaTech (8-4). They did beat Marshall too.
Looks like they are hard to read because I think teams like WMU/CMU/NIU/BGSU/UT would all probably have a fairly similar record playing that schedule.

Drunk girls in the Bahamas and a bowl win is worth it! :)

Yeah. They don't have a doable win over a P5 (Illinois+Vandy) which is very doable to define oneself as a "G5 Power", and they got SMOKED by WKU & LaTech. They did beat Marshall, but so did 2nd place MAC East Ohio. They made Alabama work to get a big lead over them in the end, so that one's not bad.
IMO, MTSU is like a CMU/WMU team. Again, it's going to come down to who's more prepared & on their game, and who makes the least amount of mistakes.

I believe we will be flying to Florida and then rowing the boat from there. I'm hoping no one falls overboard on the way there...
