Oh yeah? Prove it. Start a rumor that Syracuse is good at football again. I dare you!

Hey that rumor went well for a week after the LSU game, until Cuse played again.

After his exit from the Falcons, Petrino can't even enter the state without an armed escort

I'm sure that Georgia fans would revolt as well if they paid his $10 million buyout.

Petrino burned a lot of bridges in the SEC with his Arkansas antics. I think this report is bogus from that angle. If he is looking around he's a bigger idiot than I thought. His little head proved he was an idiot. If his bigger head screws up too then he deserves what he gets.

The threat to move is usually a precursor to wanting another raise.

If anyone in college football thinks a coach loves his school they are totally delusional unless he played there, graduated there, and coached there, married there, and sends his kids there. Otherwise, there is absolutely no tie other than cash.

In that regard Petrino is no worse than the rest of them and no better either.

Whether you are SEC, ACC, Big 10, Big 12 or PAC the coaching business is simply a top gun for hire.

Going to disagree. The only job I see Dabo ever leaving Clemson for is Alabama and honestly at this point I wouldn't be surprised if he turned it down as well. Clemson hired him when nobody else would and gave him a shot that nobody else would and has given him everything he has asked for. He's the exception IMO.

It's not even a little bit true. It was a satirical blog post that someone ran with. Seriously nothing to see here.

LOUISVILLEā€™S BOBBY PETRINO INTERESTED IN GEORGIA BULLDOGS JOB

It's an article on a sports blog I've never heard of and references a tweet by a person named BurritoBrosShits. Sounds like a pretty legit source /sarcasm

RE: Is it true about Petrino?
I seriously doubt Petrino is going anywhere or even interested at this point. Some of his family stayed behind in Louisville the first time he left. This is their home. I think his family has basically told him that this is it. His entire family is here including grandkids. His family established a huge foundation here for medical situations involving kids and they have raised a bunch of money. His daughter is the head of the foundation and the whole family is involved. It's about more than money as a salary now -- plus UL pays him pretty damn well to start with. This is probably the best situation he could ever be in -- most of the community supports him, his boss is great, he gets what he wants for the program, staff etc.

Pitino tried to tell him before not to go -- that the "greener grass" is not always better. He didn't listen and regretted it. I think they have both learned that this is the best place to be with the support they get. Plus they have every chance for really good success here.
