Exclamation PTR - Could Mizzou still play in a bowl
Due to a shortage of 6-win teams, there will need to be some 5-win teams to fill all bowl slots AND Mizzou is one of those possible teams. In addition, it seems that the main criteria for selecting 5-win teams is APR and they are 2nd in APR, so there is a strong possibility of them being eligible.

Now, I thought I read recently that they would not be playing in a bowl, but I dont know if that was just based on the assumption that they wouldnt be eligible with only 5 wins, or a decision that they would not choose to play if they ultimately did become eligible.

i say this is Possibly Tiger Related since it could impact Odom's ability to bring assistants with him quickly IF he accepts the Memphis "non-offer". ?

There was an announcement by Mizzou that they would not be playing in a bowl game that specifically addressed that scenario. I don't remember who said it though.
