Massey has it as 4 point spread but not sure if takes into account Qb situation so you are probably right

My guess, because of the uncertainty at QB, it will not be posted until late in the week, if at all if Carey remains mum. They might post earlier if the oddsmakers don't see a big difference between Graham and Lefty.

I'll say the spread will be 10 if Graham can go, and 13 if not.

Maybe its a long shot, but do we have a slight advantage over Bowling Green in the fact that our offensive game plan is forced to change at the last minute? They can review all the tape on Hare and Graham running the offense, but I'd imagine having Fiedler will mix things up.

Based on Fiedler's high school film, seems to be more of a pocket passer.

BG doesn't have to prep much. Just stack the box and make it tough for us to run. Make a true freshman QB who has a total of one quarter's worth of experience beat you with his arm.

I hope he's a pocket passer. He seemed mobile enough to get yards running anyway, if anything is open in front of him.

This game is on our O Line. If we cannot run and give Fiedler time we are in trouble. BG will try to get as much pressure on Fiedler as possible to see if he can handle it.

Falcons losing Babers. Don't know how that will affect the spread.

They may let Babers stay and coach the title game. Depends on how UCF feels about it. Typically though they want to get them to their need job immediately so they can begin recruiting and evaluating.

If the AD was Barry Alvarez, Babers would be fired tonight.

He'll probably stay to coach the game, but it'll be interesting to see the effect it has on the team.

I wonder the BG players will have a say in it.

Q
As stated earlier, if we can't run the ball, we got problems.....must keep their offense off the field. Matt Johnson (the QB with 41 TD passes) will put up some big numbers if we don't have any kind of pressure.

I'm glad we made it to the MACC, but with a untested QB we have a major job ahead of us. Actually surprised the spread is only 8.

If Babers is going to UCF (he said the report is inaccurate but did not say it is untrue) IMO having a lame duck coach the MACC would be a bad decision. Actually, is there really a good choice for BG in this circumstance? We will see how this shakes out and what BG decides, but none of this could be good for their team!

The two main keys to the game IMO.

Why would Babers accept a move to a lateral conference?. Could it be he knows its 1 step closer to a P5 gig than the MAC and they will pay him more?

Hey, it may be lateral, but $$$$ talk. And the man is 54 yrs old, so why not beef up your net worth. And he's in sunny Florida. And UCF tanked this year, so he has nowhere to go, but UP
