North Carolina...the team that will beat Clemson.

Right now, we're all fresh off watching Ohio State stomp Michigan, but I guarantee you, if NC upsets Clemson, their will be a lot of sentiment to put a 12-1 ACC Champ in the playoff.

Correct. Ohio State has only beaten Michigan. If UNC is 12-1 with a win over Clemson, they jump Ohio State.

I know they would have lost head to head to UNC, but Clemson would still have a better resume than both teams. I'd have them in regardless.

UNC would be a conference champion which is a committee criteria.

Ohio State is out, Stanford as PAC champion would be in over them. IF NC beats Clemson then the Heels would be in.

it's a committee criteria, but the teams have to be viewed as being equal for that to matter. It's a tiebreaker, not an out and out decider.

Also, watch Tuesday for clues. Clemson I'm telling you could absolutely be #3. Alabama and Oklahoma 1/2 in some format. Clemson beating South Carolina by 5? That's pathetic.

It was a rivalry game, Bama looked bad as well against Auburn. I can see Oklahoma jumping Bama but I can't see them both jumping Clemson, who has a better win than both of them & 0 losses.

Stanford has a much better SOS than OSU.

Alabama dominated the game. Won by 16 and 7 points from Auburn was garbage lucky play. And Auburn is a MUCH better team than South Carolina- who lost to the Citadel.

How is that any different than Alabama's performance vs. Auburn? Up 19-13 late and then got 30 yard gift from referee to put them in FG range. Followed up with late TD to make it 29-13. Every bit as much a dogfight at the Clemson-SC game.

He's biased against the ACC...the ACC is supposed to suck this year, even though it's actually a lot better than people give it credit for, while the PAC 12 has been completely overrated this year

That was no 30 yard gift. It was a clear cut late hit out of bounds, and Muschamp acted the fool and got called on it. Auburn scored the ******* luckiest TD you have ever seen. And Auburn is a light years better team than South Carolina.

It was barely out of bounds and it was a hit on the ankles, not a major hit. It was technically correct, but marginal. Quick personal foul calls in the 4th quarter on coaches when they are 5 feet away are pure bs.

It wasn't marginal at all. And it wasn't a quick PF call- Muschamp was a fool. Both calls get made 100% of the time.

They are light years better than South Carolina this year? Lol

Auburn is pretty bad this year...don't forget the Jacksonville State game. South Carolina also had their coach bail on them this year

I've seen, especially in the SEC, lots of late hits get let go, much more flagrant than that. SEC refs are very loose. In the Big 12, they really protect the players, especially the QBs. Not so much in the SEC. And personal fouls on the bench are very rare. Refs get yelled at all the time and they almost never call them.

Auburn is going bowling. And they did beat Louisville.

Oh and Jacksonville St was #1 in FCS. Citadel wasn't even a top 8 team in FCS.

It was easily a late hit. The fact it was at the legs made it worse...

And the bench foul- sorry but not many coaches act as dumb as Muschamp did.

Alabama has no top 10 wins to it's credit. Clemson has 2 and is still undefeated. There is no way Bama should be rated ahead of them.
