Exclamation 2015 ACC CG
Just announced - the ACC Championship Game will kickoff at 8:00 PM and will be televised on ABC.

http://www.theacc.com/news/acc-espn-anno...11-28-2015

Most likely a top 4 vs. top 10 game (similar to last year).

This one is different due to the proximity of the teams to Charlotte.

141 miles to 134 miles is a nice even distance for both fan groups.

Clemson vs UNC is the absolute best matchup the ACCCG can get in terms of attendance.

This could very well be a playoff game....if North Carolina wins, the debate becomes....North Carolina or Ohio State?

Oh if we beat Clemson we'd jump over Ohio State. We'd be 12-1 with a win over the #1 team. Their best win is over Michigan.

I figured that the Vegas line would open at around Clemson -9.5, so I head over to VegasInsider only to see Clemson opening as a -6.5 favorite.

I suspect there will be no shortage of UNC fans wagering on the Heels.

Not that the Clemson Tigers have anything to be worried about on Saturday, but I'll drop this headline from 12/4/2011 right.. here.

"Southern Mississippi stuns Houston in Conference USA title game"
http://espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=313370248

Y'all remember that Houston outfit, coached by Kevin Sumlin with a fringe Heisman candidate at QB, and entered the game undefeated (and at the time, #6 in the BCS), yet found itself on the business end of a 49-28 ass-whippin' at the hands of Southern Miss, coached by Larry Fedora.

That stuff comes to mind when I think about Saturday. Could Fedora do it again..?

The line is now 4.5 or 5, depending on your bookie of choice. Lots of Carolina money coming in, I suppose.

Actually some think Clemson will get in because UNC scheduled two lower division teams and Clemson has two top 10 team wins. I don't think OSU will get in but not Clemson, will look bad after what happened last year with them getting in with a bad loss at home. OSU doesn't have the conference title to help their case this year.

UNC getting in sets the precendent that all you have to do is win your conference and have 1 top 25 win to make the playoffs, and it doesn't matter if you have a horrible loss to an unranked team with losing record, which they will reinforce by taking Oklahoma and Michigan State.

Clemson also beat the SC team at SC that UNC couldn't handle on a neutral field.
