Thank you. Y'all were prepared to play today and had the energy level to go with it. We got it close in the 3rd quarter, but I think it is #88 who kept just beating us on play after play and made great highlight reel catches. I am embarrassed by the 4th qtr. to, td, to, td, to, td. 20 points in 69 seconds. That is what I found inexcusable out of our team today. Great game for USM and good luck next week!

Thanks X. Us Tech fans are still licking our wounds from today but we'll be back! USM should be solid again next year. Tech will lose a lot but hopefully we can grow up enough during the season to repay the favor next year in Hattiesburg!

We played hard but the ball also bounced our way today. We are good here at the end of the year but not that much better than you guys. We need to go to KY Western and avenge you guys. The west needs to bring home the trophy this year.

No joke about the ball bouncing y'all's way! I've already posted a few times that we got our butts kicked today so it's not at all taking away from how y'all played....but on Dixon's fumble a USM player picked up the ball but didn't have a good handle on it and it flew up in the air and I'm pretty sure all 11 people on USM's D touched the ball before one of y'all's players finally got a handle on it and not ONE Tech player touched the ball! Tech definitely had our chances and crapped the bed but it seemed like every 50/50 ball went USM's way today!

That's very kind. I'll always remember this game as the game USM took over the Joe and made us their *****. Sure, the turnovers made the score look worse, but there was no doubt who the better team was. Mullens is terrific, coaching on O and D was outstanding, 88 is a stud! We are going to have to up our game if we are going to beat USM in the future.

I root for Tech over all LA schools. You have a good team and now go and win the bowl!

USM was an extremely well coached team in every single fact of the game. I am extremely impressed with the job Mullens has done. If your team plays against WKU the way you did against us, USM will win the championship game.

Agree. As Louisiana schools go my favorite has always been Tech.

Southern Miss played with incredible intensity and confidence. The fans y'all brought and the band were great too. Granted, y'all had something to cheer about, but you were incredibly loud. Then, y'all ran us out of our own stadium. I think, if you can play with that same intensity, you may just beat WKU next week.
