Predict the Bowl
Anyone have any idea where we go bowling?

I'm going to say - maybe - Hawaii. But I really don't care - just get on with it. 02-13-banana04-cheers05-stirthepot01-ncaabbs

RE: Predict the Bowl
Congratulations to the eight bowl eligible teams in the AAC.

Houston
Navy
Temple
Memphis
UCONN
Cincinnati
USF
Tulsa

*Unfortunately ECU didn't win today and get a certain bowl chance. But there still may be a chance if some of the bowls can't fill their slots otherwise.

RE: Predict the Bowl
Hawaii would be real nice for a team that went 6-6.......it would be easier on fans if the Heart of Texas or the Independence Bowl opened up. I don't think we go to a Florida Bowl......but what do I know!!

RE: Predict the Bowl
It looks like the Independence Bowl has just come into play. That would be a very good bowl for us to accept and we've been in some of them before. I like this one.

It would be our third appearance there. The SEC won't fill its slot, so we evidently are the backup vs an ACC team.

RE: Predict the Bowl
I will be happy with any bowl this season. We were fortunate to become eligible this season. I would prefer Dallas or Shreveport or Hawaii, but my prediction is : ........the Cure Bowl in Orlando.

I just don't see us getting a lot of preferential treatment after a 6-6 season. I would like to see the underdog, Temple, win tomorrow. However, our chance for a better western (non-Florida) bowl probably increases if Houston wins the AAC Championship game.

I think we'll know by Saturday evening. Someone from the AAC (I'm predicting Tulsa) will be playing their bowl game 2 weeks from tomorrow!
