I'm not shocked or surprised. I am, however, angry about the time they decided to make it official. Our seniors deserved better, much better. Fuente wouldn't have been able to turn it around without those guys.

Why so upset about the seniors? Their ceremony was before the game and before the announcement, They had their moment to be honored before this became a distraction. Its not like they are the ones being left behind and not knowing who their cos h will be next year. If you are going to feel bad for anybody feel bad for the underclassmen.

Because today is about them, period. So they had their 5 minutes before the game where they got a high five + a hug soooo who cares about what happens next? ? Also, never used the word upset. I just think it sucks. This was supposed to shake down on Tuesday, but we can agree to disagree. No big deal.

So someone blew the coach's cover story. Wonder if it was Memphis or VT?

The announcement came that Foster and Beamers son would remain on staff. That almost certainly means a VT leak.

So you don't think there were negotiations ongoing during the season? You think today is the first day Fuente thought about VT. It's just the way the game is played.

Very good sign. I have no clue why Hendo is so surprised...I know for a fact that players were talking about this.

Lol at fans seeking excuses for their own anger (i.e. lack of emotional discipline). They want to be angry. That's what this is about. Then rip and pull at all threads around them to find a reason to feel better about their anger. Just be the angry person, lol...

You people need to Man up. What a bunch of babies. This is a business and he made a decision that he thought was best for himself and his family. The timing was probably a leak but you can bet we would have made it official this weekend or asked it be made official by Fuente. Memphis will name a head coach as soon as possible for recruiting purposes. We would not have waited until after the bowl game at the end of the year.

Who are you guys talking to? There's one or two people angry, but the vast majority are like 'get this over with so we can move on.'
