It's two people. Can't wait until a mod sacks up and bans u just like they should ban the two TU trolls.

You spend an inordinate amount of time on this site, must have a pretty fulfilling life.

Hard to imagine him making a lateral move to a school with no tradition in the last 50 years unless the pay is really great. And by lateral, I mean lateral only in the pecking order, not in on-the-field results, of course.

Tulane was paying their last coach $1.2

I thought it was $1.4 million. Either way, we're willing to pay at least half a million more than the highest C-USA coach gets, and we're nowhere near the lead in this conference. So yeah it's a step up.

The delusion is strong with the C-USA bunch, we could cherry pick any coach from that league we want.
Let's pump the brakes on this "we"...

A fair amount (if not most) of the AAC schools? Sure, I'll buy that statement. Tulane? Eh...

Three times the salary, a conference with 3 ranked teams right now, regular national television exposure, brand new facilities, an interesting city to live, a highly academic school that appeals to students? Probably one or more of those reasons, I'd imagine.

It isn't three times the salary. He has a much SAFER and cleaner city to live in now. And one other thing. You can win at tech. Its not possible at tulane.

LA Tech is paying Holtz $500k annually. CJ was making at least $1.2 million per year, and if rumors are accurate Tulane is ponying up more for the next coach. So excuse me: 2.4x his current annual salary at minimum.

If safer and cleaner is what Ruston has on us, then congratulations to them. Sometimes people pick to live in a place because they want something interesting to do in their spare time other than eat at the nearest Dairy Queen with the other 30 people who live in town. We're one of the fastest growing cities in the country for a reason.

I don't think that Tulane would settle for Miles. Their program requires a coach in good standing such as Urban Meyer or Nick Saban. Cheers! Oh and Herman is going to LSU

After 1 year as a HC, w/o coaching his own recruits? LSU??

That was for you. After all I am Quo and I am an LSU fan right? BTW, Do you still think I'm Quo? Or worse, do you think I'm an LSU fan???? Just cuz ECU's season is over doesn't me I'm going away son! The Coogs better beat Temple because I want a Houston vs Notre Dame Fiesta Bowl almost as much as I want Iowa in the playoff Cheers!
