RE: How bad does it hurt black bears
Probably not as bad as knowing they were one incredible fluke play or a facemask penalty away from playing in it regardless of what Bama did today!!! 03-weeping

We were a 4th and 14 and a 4th and 25 away from Tennessee vs. Ole Miss in Atlanta.

When was the last time Ole Miss beat Bama and LSU in the same season. Shame they don't have a trip to ATL to show for it.

OTOH, I figure this means Memphis would beat Moo State by at least 3 touchdowns.

The weekend couldn't have worked out better for a Memphis fan surrounded by black bears and cowbells.

As an Ole Miss fan, it's disappointing that a few plays kept you from Atlanta - but a few plays also gave you a win over Alabama. That's just how it goes in the SEC...that's why you have to be near perfect every week.

Still, the job Freeze has done in 4 years is amazing. He has some things he needs to address, no coach is perfect, but... back-to-back 9 win regular seasons, .500 record vs. SEC West, 3-1 vs. State, back-to-back New years 6 Bowls (all with EMCC QBs, no run game, and a less than average O-Line)

As long as he recruits at an elite level, like he likely will, Ole Miss will be in the mix & Rebel fans can't ask for anything more. I don't want to be like the miserable Georgia & LSU fans that get pissed at 10 win seasons...

Seriously?

Ole Miss smack?

They are likely going to the Sugar Bowl while your team is slated to fight to keep a winning record by having to play an AAC team.

The Gus Bus a mess.

Not to mention that Reverie, TN is in Arkansas. That's got to suck.
