banker everything you have to say about Western is intended....
but speaking of high schoolish nothing says high school more than a awful designed erector set. Honestly no offense intended but but sometimes bigger isn't better. And if you can't do it right...don't do it
especially when it's not needed
I think I can speak for most of our fans when it comes to this...I hope Western NEVER adds another seat if it looks like a high school erector set cheap addition. What a eyesore

OK?
I'm sure every fan hopes for that for their team. After really paying close attention to some of your post over the last week or so I have a question for you.
Are you slow? One of those Duhhhhhhhhh type of people. I know that sounds harsh but I really don't know any other way to ask you that question.
I mean that in the kindest way because if you are and I've starting to really think so...it will reflect what I say or how I say it to you from now on.

Dude, one set of stands on one side and a completely disconnected set of stands on the other side is small time, high schoolish. Our stadium was like that until 1999 when we added the endzone, and I agree that we did the addition on the cheap and I wish they would redo it, but it's not a priority for the athletic department. The way you stadium sits you could do a really nice addition and facade facing out toward Avenue of Champions or whatever that road is running next to the stadium.
Just because you try to be a Richard with each comment you make doesn't mean everyone else is. It would greatly enhance the acoustics of the stadium to enclose one end and give the opportunity to create a great facade. The way your stadium sits there really isn't a good outside presence as it exists. Oh, and get a bigger video board, yours looks like some guy is just holding up an iPhone 6 (see, that's a comment that's meant to be offensive).
I personally think first impressions walking up makes a huge difference in what someone thinks of a stadium. With Western it's basically enclosed in a horseshoe from the outside and when you have 3000 to 4000 students sitting in the berm there is no need to add seats there and I think most people hope avenue of champions is never enclosed
Keeping noise in is not a problem when the fans want to make it. The ULM game a couple years ago was as loud as any stadium Ive been in not with 70k or more fans. You could not talk to the person next to you and hear what was being said for a huge part of that game. The below video is mostly being recorded at field level. The problem is getting those fans up and involved all the time. I can say it's never been matched since then.
The Houch is small but the seats puts the fans right on top of the action. The Houch is small but right now it's the perfect size for Western and with the berm could easily hold 25,000 in SRO.
If there comes a time Western needs more seats they will be added and not on the cheap as long as President Ransdale is there.
