That's simply the life at the G5 level, somebody will always get screwed

Also bowl over saturation has made it where at one time even getting a bowl was a treat no matter the opponent, it's now seen as almost a participation ribbon. They need to seriously trim bowls down, and fast

So true. But I think we should be able to play some runnerups from PAC12 , B10, SEC.

Trim bowls and fast? All that will do is leave American teams at home at 6-6, 7-5, or even 8-4. Every greedy 5 will have its .500 or even 5-7 teams playing in bowls... why would you want to trim the AAC out?
I never said AAC bowls... i said trim bowls

Hell my suggestion was going to be bowls with less than a million payout to start

RE: AAC Bowl picture
You can't trim other bowls and not AAC bowls we are already on the thrid tier bowl list.

Trimming bowls would only hurt the smaller schools and actually strengthen the big boys club. This is why no bowls will go dark this year. Because they are not going to shut down the liberty bowl or the Pinstripe bowl they would shut down the birmingham bowl and the Miami bowl the games we are affiliated with and then these bowls would fold and the AAC would go back to 4 tie ins and a team like south Florida would stay home next year.
