Game Day: Madonna
We close out our 3-game Catholic game series today with Madonna.

Not much to say except Toney may or may not be back (toe) and Lee will not.

For those who are tired of days and days of football (Tues, Thurs, and Friday), get to go indoors to the 'friendly confines' of the Convo...

Still expecting to see Stone gets significant minutes. It looks like he took a gash some where in the face and needed to see 'Dr. Ferdie, the fight doctor' to get stitched up.

(There was a 'famous' fight doctor, Dr. Ferdie Pacheco ' who was famous for fixing up championship boxers between rounds during televised boxing matches. He was in the corner for Ali's fights and many more.)

RE: Game Day: Madonna
With a D1 road game on Monday, my hope is that the starters get plenty of rest today.

Agree. I believe the game is Tuesday, which is better.

The team has played Monday, Wednesday, and will play today and Tuesday.

That's a lot but Murphy certainly can spread the minutes today.

I wouldn't give Thompson more than 20 minutes. Twelve max in the 1st half and say five to eight in the 2nd.

Ahh my mistake. Still, we've played a lot of games in a short span. No need to burn the guys out, especially Thompson.

RE: Game Day: Madonna
Game broadcast: Toney had an ingrown toe nail removed Wednesday. Back for NE-Omaha.

Price will start today.

I swear I'd start Bond at PG and let Price start at SF. Just a thought... :)

Lee will come off the bench Tuesday.

BobW: Coach is telling Chad why we have these non-D-I games: We want to have our home games and we can't afford the 'buy' money (for D-1 opponents).

P.S. I knew that...

Bond is pushing the ball very nicely today from the point. Playing the wing on defense.

No surprise, Sam and I have been saying this for a LONG time.
