RE: FAU at ODU
I was impressed with FAU. Their DL won the game. The stacked the box to stop the running game and Lawry/Cox injuries combined with the DL of FAU was too much. That dude number 88 is pretty darn good. I also like your coach going for it on 4th down late. Thought he made the smart decision to bench Johnson.

Can you guys tell the punter, you aren't supposed to miss the net when you are practicing on the sideline?

Frankly, it is a good thing he missed the net, so we do not have to spend money replacing it. That dude has got a cannon for a foot.

Speaking of which, I think the importance of a good punter should not be understated. These guys extremely important for a team that has to rely on defense.

I was very impressed with your punter. ODU has been looking for a punter for years. We can't find any.

Hopefully the rest of the defense will back up that DL then... Again, over the past few weeks, the DL REALLY impressed me most.

LOL, it was just a joke. Your backup punter missed the net completely and kicked it onto the field.

Yes, that punter and I think the UTEP one has some serious legs on them. I remember when we used to have guys that could do that.

Our punter is ranked #1 in the country.

Our punter is ranked #1 in the country.

And our defensive lineman, Trey Hendrickson, is third in the nation in sacks.

Interestingly, both he and Dalton Schomp, our punter, are returning next year. I believe, both will get drafted in 2017.

FAU's gonna be the force to reckon with in the East next year (WKU loses a bit, I believe?)

Sadly, I feel like that's been the case the past three years.

This year though, I actually believe it. Our past two recruiting classes have already played a lot of time. I am worried about our QB, WR, and OL play next season. Hopefully the young guys can play to their hype.

It was a great game to attend, but a disappointing loss. ODU could just not protect Bentley from the pass rush.

Both of these teams are going to be very good the next two or three years.

I met Bentley at CUSA media days down here in Boca. What a smart and nice young man. I'm definitely rooting for him and and the rest of the team next season.

you guys have talent.....just need to put it together and find a qb.....the qb can make the receivers and rbs look really good....

if there is one thing that southern miss has been lucky with.....is finding solid qbs.....

there really isn't any other way to say it....from collier to mullens.....it's been pretty damn fun to watch....
