I certainly never heard of him. Not like he was Kirby Smart or whichever other "hot" coordinator there was.

Which is why i don't care about a "name" hire. Just do your homework and get the best coach and staff you can.

Matt Campbell apparently emerging as a serious candidate for the Missouri job, which probably means Odom to Memphis.

Agreed. Best chance that we'd have at maintaining a little continuity. I think Fuente might even help a brother out by not taking the whole staff with him to VT. MIGHT tip the scales enough to get him keep another current VT staffer, or two, in some 50/50 situations.

Odom needs to hire a progressive OC if he comes to Memphis, My dream OC hire would be Scott Lewis at Bowling Green.

If we can’t land Odom I hope we use the same firm we used to find Justin. From what I know they use a progressive system to vet their prospective coaches so the chances would be good that we could land another diamond in the rough.
