SEC East is crap. Jimbo owns Florida and FSU does as well as of late.
Also, if LSU,South Carolina,Missouri,Georgia and Miss. State all have openings.......
What's that say about the SEC?

It says that Pinkel has cancer, Spurrier got tired and retired, Georgia was fed up with a coach who had the best talent and couldn't win a profoundly weaker SEC East, and that Mullen serving the 3rd worst football program historically in the SEC in the modern era can make more money elsewhere. As for L.S.U. it didn't come open.

As to ESPN Florida has been a strong brand I'm sure that they, the SEC office, and the Gator fans all want to see Florida get stronger. It helps everyone named and helps ESPN's and the SEC's bottom line.

No. It says that the SEC got rid of one coach for failure to win what should have been an easy division and because he failed to do so for three consecutive years he was fired. Missouri hired from within which means they didn't like their options this year. Georgia rightly or wrongly hired a Saban disciple. We'll see who South Carolina gets. That's all it means.

ESPN regularly likes to report how Jimbo will leave FSU.

Jimbo turned down MANY SEC jobs, and others at this point.

The same SEC media tells us Jimbo is a weak coach (Clay Travis ranked him #18 AFTER winning national title....first non SEC coach in 9 years to do so).

NOW we are seeing all these reports that are just butt hurt and ACC coached turned down an SEC school.

SEC media is not just bias for the SEC.....they ARE the SEC.

The fact the ACC's own TV network actively works against the ACC....let alone supports it. Well, I have no idea how the ACC is supposed to remain competitive. The power of the press is EXTREMELY strong and real thing.

Unless it affects basketball......Swofford doesn't give a @#$@#$.....neither does most of the 'only bball matters' group that runs the ACC.
