Toledo OC needs to wake up.
I am convinced the OC will run up the middle even when the other team has 10 guys in the box. Horrible play calling in the second half. I really think a drunk monkey can do better. Even worse yet, he does it without Hunt in the backfield when the game is on the line. Candle needs to wake up. This is two games now that are being given away with championship implications. Wow this is hard to watch.

The players need to take it out of the coaches hands and make a couple huge plays

Being philosophical does not win titles. Putting your athletes in position to succeed does! Yup, it's that simple.

He needs to wake up and catch a bus. Could you pick him up?

Interesting observation. Do you happen to know if there was a drunk monkey playing football for Mt. Union when Campbell played there? If so, maybe Campbell will hire him and we can test your hypothesis. 05-stirthepot

RE: Toledo OC needs to wake up.
Do the players call the plays there?

It's frustrating to watch what LOOKS like easy decisions not made but I hope I don't cross the line when making observations or giving opinions. I would be unhappy with myself for making the "blind monkey" reference and probably have done worse.

Our coaches seem people to be respected and that matters much more to me than the wins or losses. Our players enjoying playing for UT matters much more than the wins and losses. Anything here on a message board is said with very limited access to information or what is probably reality, let alone decisions made real time against a skilled opponent.

That said, if anyone, coaches or people in general are going to get better at their profession, they do IMO ALWAYS have to question what reasons and emotions go into their decision making and keep an open mind to opinions and change.

But how hard of a decision is it to keep the best running back in the league off the field? Or to pass pass pass and then punt. We all know that we need to pass the ball. But when to pass? That's the big question
