RE: JMU at Marshall predictions
Good road win. Lots of nice stats esp. from Brown and yo yo. WIsh we had more of a killer instinct. Need to play better for full 40 minutes Monday vs. Radford. Radford has wins over Georgetown and Penn St.

It's a W on the road against a CUSA opponent. Can't be upset about that.

Yoyo looked great as well as Brown. This team has talent, let's hope Brady can find the most effective rotation moving forward.

Both the basketball and football team play better in purple. No white helmets or white home unis

JMU at Marshall predictions
15 boards for Dalembert
14 boards for Shak

They played like men tonight.

When is the last time JMU had 2 guys clean the glass like that in the same game?

Nice game for the Dukes, especially the 1st half.

Richmond is beating #14 California 73-70 with about 7:30 to go.

RE: JMU at Marshall predictions
Minutes getting a little better in terms of the rotation but Satkius 15 minutes- Dimitre 13? Come on- if you're not going to play Dimitre with YoYo at least give him Satkius's minutes. Serb was 4-7 with 6 rebounds and 9 points in 13 minutes- he deserves to play more. Kent's minutes should decrease to 5-10 per game purely a heat check if he's on from 3 if not he shouldn't play much. Morgan and McLean should take his minutes (an eat into Grays) and the 4/5 rotation should be Vodo, YoYo and Serb with 25-30 minutes each.

Pretty much what I tried to tell Brady. I suggest you email him as well, change won't happen unless we try.

RE: JMU at Marshall predictions
Satkus has been awful so far this season. Seems like a great guy, but his play has been very disappointing. He had something like 4 fouls in 15 minutes of play versus Marshall. That's not uncommon for him. He's also turnover-prone. I'd like to see Lukic get some minutes....he seems improved and has some offensive skill. Doubtful that that will happen, but that's my take in the early going.

Kent's play has also been disappointing, but his upside is higher than Satkus's. I still believe the presence of Brown has affected his confidence.

Morgan looks decent....hopefully his shoulder injury isn't serious.

Dukes are vulnerable to pressure, so it would be nice to have a healthy Morgan. Morgan is tremendously athletic and can drive the ball to the hoop....a skill in short supply with the Dukes. He's also a plus defender.

Rotation should sort itself out.

Agree with everything you have said...hopefully Brady concludes his tinkering soon and sticks with proven performers.

RE: JMU at Marshall predictions
In the press (last game's post game interview) and tonight's pre game article I think Brady is beginning to realize that Brown needs to be on the floor- is he going to take 100% the "right" shots" all the time? no- but he's too talented offensively and can really rebound (which this team sorely needs). He needs to start and be on the floor. I understand that defense is important as is good shot selection within the system but with the shorter shot clock offensive ability and rebounding should take priority- quicker shots are needed and more total shots are taken meaning more potential rebounds. It's pure mathematics. Dimitre needs to play more and Brown should be a starter every night (Kent shouldn't). These are things that many of us have said but they can't be said enough IMO. JMU has a potential advantage over all of their opposition with 4 good/very good offensive players in their back court and front court rotation- most teams (in conference and out) have 2-3.
