The numbers
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketba...=400842136
Only 10 assists create 15 FT attempts to go with 21 turnovers.
Give up 28 Ft attempts much based on giving up 13 O rebounds and likely the resulting 25 fouls. Avery and Perry in foul trouble.
Seth with only 13 minutes and 2 fouls. Other numbers were ok. Needs more minutes and needs to be more of a focus offensively.
The only way he'll learn to pass out and assist or to score is to throw it inside.

Did you watch the game ? They were VERY ATHLETIC AND FAST. Seth had some passes into him but was no where near fast enough to do anything with them. We ran no sets or plays due to their constant pressure all over the court. Also Kellen did not get off one clean shot. We also got killed on offensive boards by them when it really counted so even though we out rebounded them for the game when it counted most we got skunked.

No I didnt catch the game.
Are the numbers taken from ESPN incorrect? My assessment is based on logical assumptions. One that was unspoken was that WMU was not a good match up physically and or situationally.
So Seth is slower than competition. How is Drake or Kellen "faster" as you put it? Not sure if that is a net best move at the moment or building to the future.
WMU is pressured - so that accounts for the 21 turnovers. Got it.
Giving up 13 offensive rebounds usually implies that at least half were near the basket and with the foul shot disparity WMU hacked SFA on several if not all.
Anything else?

RE: The numbers
We had a size advantage and seemed to have them boxed out on many occasions. They did a nice job of keeping it alive and getting to the 50/50 balls.
While I like Wilders ability to penetrate and finish, it would be nice if he'd set people up more and get others involved.
