UTEP Wins Corpus Christi Classic:2 OTs
We'll play the Southern Illinois Salukis tomorrow (Friday) at 1:30 MT on ASN. Then, if all goes well we'll take on Colorado State who has the best RPI in the nation. That game is (hopefully) Saturday at 3 on CSN. Hopefully we can make C-USA proud and bring home some RPI cred. 04-rock

Tomorrows game will be the only one featuring two unbeaten Division 1 teams so it should attract a lot of eyeballs.

So a game with undefeated SIU and UTEP on ASN should attract a lot of eyeballs? Surely, you're not serious. A game with 5-19 NC St vs 6-15 Boston College on ESPNU head to head with the Super Bowl would get more viewers.

OT:UT Arlington will be a decent game for UTEP, UNT and Rice, They beat Memphis and Ohio State on the road. Their only loss is to LA Tech.

I read on Blogging the Bracket that ASN is only picking up the UTEP games in the tournament for the 14 households that get ASN. Just a trainwreck of a network and a pretty low rent tournament. Just glad we're in Charleston next year.

ASN is actually in a lot of areas... I have not been 100% happy with them, but I do get to watch games in Portland because of ASN.... http://americansportsnet.com/schedule/

RE: UTEP @ Corpus Cristi Coastal Classic
Yeah, I might have a different opinion if I could get it at home. It was alright last year because CSN Bay Area (which is on my channel list for some reason) carried ASN and you could get it online if not. However, this year no CSNBA and no online. Anywhere.

For instance, this game is only available in Des Moines, Dayton, and El Paso (according to the link above). It's probably not available online. If this had been a UTEP home game and despite the fact that it's only on in three markets, it would have cause the UTEP online feed to be blacked out as well. Which is the thing that PO's me the most.

Also, just the UTEP games in a tournament? That's extremely strange.

It sucks that I can't find it online. Not on firstrow but it might be here.

WAC-ers (offs) wouldn't understand. You all don't have eyeballs in the stands, nor while on TV.

For you guys in the immediate area, I found it on 14.1 by just using the scan option on my tv. No rabbit ears needed.

Frustrating as hell, not being able to watch. Even what Binks suggested didn't work for me.... I'm jinxed.

Listening on radio. Nice to have gotten that 3-point buzzer beater before the half!

34-30 Miners at the half.

1248 on TWC.

Artis in the doghouse or foul trouble? Didn't play a lot in the first half.
