Rhule staying @ Temple
Happy Thanksgiving

Good source told me late last week, prior to the Temple-Memphis game, that Rhule will be staying at Temple through at least next season. The source hinted that Rhule likes Temple a lot and his family does not want to move indicating a possible long term relationship with the Owls. I fully expect Temple to step up and boost Rhule's compensation package along with his lead assistants.

Rumblings of Satterfield (Temple OC) out to be a HC in the MAC next season, just not sure where he'll end up. Rumor has it UMass coach will retire and Satterfield's name has been mentioned for that potential vacancy.

Surprisingly enough, no mention of Snow (Temple DC) going anywhere.

Rhule's next job will be with the Eagles. You heard it here first. Maybe not after Chip, but sometime after his Temple run is over in the next 5-10 years.

this is one of the least credible info to put much faith

Your source who is unnamed, just said he likes Houston...

memphis fans could post the exact same thing...im certain fuentes likes Memphis and if no other jobs offered he would want to stay there as long as possible...

the question is how does he responded to more money and more resources.. this post didnt really say anything to really show rhule is staying with any credibility

Maybe his source doesn't want to be named? If you don't want to believe it then don't believe it, you should be worried about what to do after Herman bails

You know not of what you speak.

But read the tea leaves for yourself. What job has any media insider even suggested that Rhule has indicated interest in?

didnt say he was in any other job...but saying "rhule is staying" because you, who doesnt post much, knows someone, anonymous source, who said rhule likes temple, really doesnt mean he is staying

im not saying he is staying nor am i saying he leaving, but non of the information posted in this thread really solidify it in any way

This isn't the first time I've heard this -- Rhule wants to be at Temple longterm. He stressed that in his interviews with Trustees -- that's why they took a risk in hiring him as a new HC a few years back.

I could see him staying at Temple a long time. He'll get the glory of taking the team to the next level, promoting a new stadium etc. Then I could see him going into the NFL, for sure.

This is old news for Temple people. He won't leave except for Penn State or a super high profile job like USC West, etc.

I would be so happy if Satterfield left for a HC job somewhere.

I have some sources "in the know". They tell me that Rhule may leave Temple, but that he may stay. Rhule could possibly take a job with a power 5 school...or he could stay at Temple. He is thinking it through. Once he decides he definitely share the news with everyone.

Qwerty1 has very good sources when it comes to Temple. Go back and check how he posted about Villanova's actions during Temple's move back into the Big East if you want to see he usually knows what he is talking about.

And as for Phil Snow, I won't say this means he 100% stays but he turned down two PAC 12 schools who offered him defensive coordinator jobs with higher salaries last offseason.

Pesik....Memphis fans have never said Fuente would stay except for those few that are hoping he would stay, while being unrealistic.

I hope Rhule stays at Temple for whatever it's worth. I really respect what he has done.

This is almost word for word what was said about Brian Kelly in 2009.

It is what is said about every coach. Rhule will definitely look at other jobs. He would be crazy not too. But the original poster on this thread has very good sources when it comes to Temple.

He will be in demand and it's good to strike while the iron is hot but with that said he as well as the two other AAC coaches will have the luxury to wait for better offers if needed they don't have to take a job at a dead end P5 school

Except for Navy, every AAC school is basically a stepping stone for coaches headed for greener pastures until the status of our conference improves and/or the structure of the CFP is modified to be more inclusive. We are a young conference which is quickly making it's worth known. Who knows what the future holds? All for one - one for all: it's us against the world (of college athletics).

RE: Rhule staying @ Temple
The reality is this: Rhule is going nowhere unless State Penn University has enough of Franklins act in the next 3 years. If so, its a lock that Rhule goes to Unhappy Valley. Grew up there, went to school there. Played there, and his wife is from there. He will be their #1 pick.

Outside of that, hes at Temple for 10+ years. None of the big boys will go for him (Bama, USC, Texas, LSU).

And he is definitely not an NFL style coach.
