Not a lot of love for Marshall in those rankings, especially by USA Today.

We aren't great this year, but I have a hard time seeing us in the bottom half of FBS, which is where USA Today is putting us. I would say somewhere between 40 and 50 is fair.

It's probably based on strength of schedule plus won-lost percentage. You just don't excel in either of those dimensions.

Well, we have a better won loss record than USM, beat you guys, and your opponents won loss record is only slightly better than ours. Certainly not enough gap to justify a 14 spot difference in their rankings. We are 125th in opponent win percentage, you guys are 122nd, and you're really only ahead because of our 9 wins.
