I wouldn't be surprised Murphy will sit him the entirety of the 2nd half and get Nobles a lot of minutes at the 5.

That is interesting change up. I did think Price looked really good in the 2nd half of the MSU (despite shooting poorly but moved around well). Wonder if this is the reason to replace Bond, or if Murphy wants more coming off the bench

Playing a tough mid-major would probably be a loss. No chance to prepare. The kids probably aren't ready today for a hard game coming so close to MSU.

I believe these games cost 5 - 7K. I believe a D-I game might be say 50K or more. I remember over 20 years ago, we were paying Chicago State 25K to visit Bowen.

I don't think it's a money issue. Not many mid-majors want to come to the Convo for a very possible L against another mid major foe. It's not worth it for the low payout and bad rep.

James Thompson is the only guy who showed up to play today. Dominant. Sadly, the rest of the team looks awful and sluggish.

Thompson could probably beat Marygrove 1-on-5.

Unbelievable what he can do as a frosh. Some frosh centers can't walk and chew gum.
