This stings for sure, but once the pain wears away hears the real narrative...

How many programs would lose their starting QB, replace him with a 5th string walk-on frosh, on the road vs a ranked Conf rival and find a way to win? Then go on the road for another tough game and beat another tough opponent the following week? We literally beat 3 bowl teams in crunch time with our 5th string QB.

Ya, it may feel like a decline is coming but from that perspective we are in great shape.

The media will have the Huskies as an afterthought in the offseason after the way this finished.

We only graduate 13 guys. The depth we have coming back is insane.

We are going to hang another banner next year. Book it.

I'm still numb but considering, how convinced I was that we would lose to Toledo after drew went down, and extending the season until today, I still really enjoyed this season. Respect to the football for not giving up and playing the elite team they are. Sad, but I hope we get a bowl win. Access bowl $$ for the MAC would be nice, that said, I do wish Toledo luck. (Doesn't mean I don't hate them still)

I love the $Hlt out of those crazy dogs. Overall happy I guess, considering the injuries, and key injuries at that. They fought to the end. That's how we roll. Proud

PS. Agreed I have no doubt, that we are in good shape for next year.

Last time I checked, they were young men playing a game. Having fun. Playing hard. Doing their best.
I think they achieved quite a lot up til now and the season is not over. I am looking forward to more.
And I do not care what young man plays QB....I am sure he will play like a Huskie.

I trust the coaches to make the right decisions, unless they are on the golf course not planning who their 6th string QB will be. Those lazy SOB's.

I trust the coaches will find a Punter and a Kicker who can kick the ball to the End Zone consistently.

The guts and determination showed by this team under an expectation to win every week makes me so proud to be a fan of this football team - Look at that last drive - They didn't pack it in - they kept fighting - that's what being a Huskie is all about.
