sorry... I haven't paid attention to the new bowl game rules... but, if we win the next two games... we are looking at the Rose Bowl or Fiesta Bowl right?

the selection committee has us ahead of houston this week. if we look good beating wmu and bg i don't think they jump us unless they dismantle navy.

in reality houston has been fading a bit and is banged up. they get navy at home and that really depends on how good their defensive coaching is to prepare for stopping a perfectly run option offense.

lots can still happen but the key for us is to look like a new years day bowl team the next 2 weeks. we actually have the strongest body of work if you look at who we played and what the scores were, however, the american has a bunch of good teams this yr so it will be possible we come out of things going to a low profile bowl.

I think if Toledo beats Western, they should turn down the trip to Detroit. Isn't that what we discussed last week? Who really wants to drive to Ford Field and watch Toledo beat BG's arse a second time in one season? It's better to be 11-1 than 12-1 and conference champs, right? lol

Rockets came pretty darn close to playing a complete game against BG. Now would be a good time to put together that complete game. Broncos are a good team. They will get yards & (I suspect) points through the air against us. We should get yards and points on the ground against them. Difference maker may be does our air game better Western's run game, but I think this one will really be decided by turnovers, penalties and time of possession. These are things teams can control...who wants it more?
