You'll whistle a different tune if GT beats the dawgs again!

Yea yea, I know.

Georgia Tech hasn't beaten U(sic)GA at home since Joe Hamilton was the QB. Almost a full generation ago. The ACC still had nine members. Bobby Dodd Stadium held 45,000 people. Bobby Cremins, George O'Leary, and Ralph Friedgen patrolled the flats.

In the highly unlikely event that the worst GT team since 1994 beats U(sic)GA, it will be very interesting to see if Mark Richt survives. Three consecutive losses to great/good GT teams is a death sentence at UGAg. I suspect two consecutive losses where one is a great GT team and one is a historically bad team may be a death sentence as well.

UGA people are probably also noticing that LSU is about to send Les Miles packing.

Should Alabama lose to Auburn (unlikely I know) & If Florida losses to FSU, does the SEC get anyone into the CFP? Who's there next best hope?

Oh, they'd backdoor SOMEONE into the CFP. Count on it.

If Michigan beats OSU at Michigan, they will win the B1G east, and if they beat Iowa, does the B1G get blanked. If so, where's the party?

You failed to mention the other key part of that. For Michigan to make the Big 10 title game, they have to win AND have PSU upset Michigan St.

Can the ACC sweep the SEC again? Hard to tell with rivalry games, records mean jack.

MSU is in the driver's seat for the B1G East.

I forgot about MSU having to lose to PSU.

RE: Open Thread - Week 13
I guess Michigan still has a shot at playoffs, if they beat Ohio State, and MSU loses to Penn State, then they beat an undefeated Iowa in title game.

their OOC loss to Utah is a quality loss and the loss to MSU is seen as a fluke.

Watching Miami beat up on Pitt today, just tells me Al Golden had to go. Whomever gets the job will have Kaaya for 1-2 more years.

Wow! I wasn't sure who would win the Miami @ Pitt game (still could go either way, I suppose), but I did NOT expect the Canes to jump out to a big lead like this.

So, Canes fans, how much do you think Golden has been holding the team back?

Panthers uniforms look good, though. (So do the Canes, remarkably!)
