Looks like Easterwood is finally past being enamored with Pastner and holding out hope that he will grow into a good, seasoned coach - like a lot of us, I might add, including myself. It is hard to dislike Pastner on a personal level but I just don't see us regaining national prestige in BB with him at the helm. Very disappointing.

If you've been paying attention he's been past it for a while. He's made multiple comments in the past few seasons about the dysfunction of the program

That said, as entertaining as it was yesterday (epic!!) I totally get the kid angle...

The university, in as much as it deserves credit for building a football program, has allowed Josh to destroy the basketball program. Its been obvious the guy has been out of his element since his 3rd year. He initially won by simply overwhelming vastly inferior CUSA teams with All-American talent, but has not been able to build a program. We, now, can longer attract top talent and the fan base has shriveled to less than 10k. Some of this is not his fault... ie travel budget cut... but his inability to manage his team and manage a game rests completely on him.

Said he was going to quit doing radio after the season. Multiple times.
